Zoning Information
Zoning was adopted in November of 1965 and is designed to “protect the health, safety, and welfare” of those living in the community. Most zoning regulations are a matter of common sense and help to make sure that people use their property in such a way that is not detrimental to those living in the same area or to the community as a whole.

All construction, from fences and decks to homes and businesses require a zoning certificate which are available at the Zoning Office at 4822 East Cemetery Road in the Administration Building. A complete copy of the Zoning Resolution can be purchased for a nominal fee at the zoning office.

The zoning inspector is Pat Cerny and she can be contacted at 419-797-4131 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4p.m. at the zoning office, or through e-mail
