James Stouffer stated May 4, 5, and 6th,  he will be conducting his third boat show.  He will work with the police and fire in regard to safety issues.  Mr. Stouffer also stated in regard to the floating homes, the township and the county will loose money because the marinas are suffering from a lack of boats.  He will meet with Walt Wehenkel.

Reggie Langford sent out the check for the monument.  The ceremony will be held at 10:00a.m. or 11:00 a.m. on May 27th and also to be announced.  He thanked the township for the assistance with the base and the lights.

William Rofkar stated in the cemetery there are sections that were plotted for lots but never sold.  His question was should we sell these sections.  There was discussion on putting the cemetery on a computer program.  It could also be on the web site.  It was decided to first put this on a program before these lots are sold.  The dip in the inbound lane of Carolina has been repaired by our maintenance crew.  The Quest Group is the company who did the cut and they will redo the cut on Carolina at their expense.  Preliminary plans for Heigel Park for utilities were received and bids will be put out for excavation when the plans are finalized.    The plans are also with the Sanitary Engineer’s Department.  The Trustees reviewed the plans for the restroom and would like to send the plans to Don Waggoner for review.  The Sanitary Engineer’s preliminary cost estimate for fees, hook-up, grinder pump, connection, is going to be a little over $17,000.00 for the  restroom. The Trustees will set up a meeting with the Commissioners to discuss this

as it is a lot of money for a public restroom.

William Rofkar stated we should consider the bid from Molnar and he can begin in a week or two.  Robert Schroeder made a motion to accept the bid from Molnar Construction of the sum of $16,700.00 seconded by William Rofkar.  All voted aye. William Rofkar stated a five member Park Board would be desirable.  The Park Board will be informed first and then it will be advertised in a couple of weeks.

Robert Schroeder stated the Cliff’s Association has requested thirteen hydrant markers.

Our men will install them.  Gary Mortus stated he would like the Police to patrol the area of  West Catawba and Rte. 53.  Vehicles are not stopping to enter Rte. 53.  William Rofkar stated they should start writing tickets on the bike path again.

William Rofkar stated a thank you should be sent to the County Engineer David Brunkhorst for his help with the composting and providing manpower and equipment when we need it.  Robert Schroeder stated he did take the Marv Grover pictures to the County Engineer’s office and he did send someone out to look at it and they think it is a dry french drain and they will dig it out and clean it.

Gary Mortus stated he will not be available for the zoning hearing on April 26, 2007.

Robert Schroeder made a motion for adjournment seconded by William Rofkar.  All voted aye.
