Gary Mortus stated his knowledge of the regulations.  Ginger Grummel stated people are confused as to township roads and private roads.  Gary Mortus stated a work session with Chief Bob Rogers would be a good idea.

Marv Grover asked if anything has been done in regard to his water problem.  Robert Schroeder is working on this with the County Engineer and the Engineer has promised to address this.

William Rofkar stated the Heigel Park restroom plans have been preliminarily approved.

William Rofkar also stated he has approved four hours per day of over-time for one of the Maintenance men to work the evening shift for the clean-up and they will be getting a front-end loader from Fox for loading on  Friday and Saturday.  Norwalk Landscape said they would take our excess compost and wood chips.

Robert Schroeder stated he and Pat are working on a landscape plan for the township.

Robert Schroeder stated there is a bump in the road on Muggy Road past Thompson’s Nursery.  William Rofkar will check it.

Gary Mortus stated he will need an easement from Catawba Woods Club Condos for the pole that will provide power to the Heigel Park restroom.  The Black Swamp requires  a conservation easement on the Cedar Meadow Preserve property and Mark Mulligan will record it.  The Black Swamp did a baseline review of encroachments that need to be corrected.  The easement is a mirror of the one that the township already has.  It gives them the right to come onto the property.  Gary Mortus made a motion to approve the conservation easement with Black Swamp Conservancy and Catawba Island Township concerning the Cedar Meadows Preserve.  Robert Schroeder seconded.  Robert Schroeder, aye; William Rofkar, aye; Gary Mortus, aye.  Motion carried unanimously.

Robert Schroeder stated the addresses are listed with the encroachments and the owners should be notified.

William Rofkar made a motion to adjourn seconded by Robert Schroeder.  All voted aye.
