Correspondence included letter from Ohio Public Safety regarding distribution of revenue, Ohio Insurance Services Agency stating renewal of Anthem Life Insurance rates will stay the same as 2005, Ohio Townsship Association regarding Issue 1-Jobs for Ohio, and a thank-you including a check for $50.00 for use of the Community Hall from the Knights of Columbus.

Catherine Pfeiffer asked if there was any more information on the purchase of the Vollmer property?  Gary stateed still waiting for the State to send us the money.

Robert Schroeder stated the Fire Department had a pig roast for everyone yesterday. Calls are way up- about 270 calls already this year. Mon Ami bout Bob Rogers property and heard it might be used for parking or to store commercial vehicles there which would be against Zoning and thinks a letter should be sent to them before they start anything. Gary Mortus advised Pat to send them a letter stating what the property is zoned and the uses in that District and send copy to Prosecuting Attorney so he is aware of what is going on with the property.

Gary Mortus received call from Rod Belden who wants  to make a presentation on Fire and Police needs and what they are doing for this at Ehove at the next meeting and would like to have Bob Rogers and Dan Barlow at the meeting.  Does not have a quote on cooling system yet from Windau.  Had a call from the Corp of Engineers on the Rock Ledge project as there are some problems and also asked Dave Brunkhorst to meet with them at the same time in December but there is no definite date yet.  Talked to Insurance Company about that tree that came down on Bob Rahm’s garage and she stated they considered paying the deductable but received no response from him. Bob’s falling off the roof was his problem.  Bob Schroeder talked to Bob Rahm about what Dan had said and Bob Rahm said the Township should just forget it.

A motion was made by Gary Mortus to authorize Robert Schroeder to sign for the closing on the Vollmer property.  William seconded the motion. The vote: G. Mortus-aye, W.  Rofkar-aye,  R. Schroeder-aye.

Clerk asked about removable of the portable pot at Heigel  Park and Bill advised it should not be removed.   Asked about opening buildings for voting tomorrow and Bill said he has already talked to Dan about it.

William Rofkar asked Bob about employee issue that something happened last week about reprimanding sent to the supervisor  about something in the employee manual and was curious about why he was not made aware of it and why it was done.  Bob stated according to the manual police are not allowed to distribute political signs.  Bill stated he feels everyone has the right to put political signs in the yard.  Feels all three Trustees should be made aware of a reprimand to an employee made by one Trustee and discuss the situation before anything is done.  Completely disagree because everyone has the right to have political signs in their yard as it is freedom of speech.

A motion was made by Gary Mortus and seconded by Robert Schroeder to adjourn at 9:35 P.M..  All voted aye.
