Correspondence included letter from Charles Pogan regarding Mon Ami loud noise, Ottawa County Engineer’s Office including $4000.00 check for participation in the County-Township Cooperative Road Program, Columbia Gas Company including “Person in Charge” form updating emergency information, Ohio Public Employees Retirement System regarding employee rate increase for 2006, Hylant Insurance including renewal policy and check for third quarter motel tax $3574.47 from County Auditor.

Reggie Langford stated since he volunteered for the gypsy moth project and supposedly am under the Park Board volunteers, would it be feasible to volunteer to help the Township employees with the brush and leaf pickups next year?  Bill Rofkar stated you would not have to go under the Park Board you would just be considered a part time employee without pay.  Gary Mortus stated the only concern would be if you would be covered under Township insurance and will check on that.

Robert Schroeder stated Bob Rogers would like new patches and presented quote on different number of patches and purchase of 200 patches was approved.  David Downing asked about the two tires stored in the old fire station if he could have them and this was approved .   Fire Department has been having training on Monday nights.

Gary Mortus stated Mon Ami removed the sign and then put the limosine service sign up and am opposed to having any sign in the road right-of-way which is Township property.  Bill Rofkar stated it is in the minutes of a previous Board of Trustees that Mon Ami was allowed to put up the sign for the Glass Works.  Concerns him that a lot of money was spent for this sign that they assumed would replace the old sign so would be inclined to say if the past Board allowed it they should be able to put the sign there.  Bob Schroeder stated they are just trying to get away with any thing just like when they put that new addition they did not have a Zoning permit until Pat went after them to get one.

Pat Cerny stated they came in the office about the sign and stated they owned that strip between the roads and they were advised that is Township property.

Gary Mortus stated the web page of the Land Use hearing is up and running.  Closing on the Vollmer property is tomorrow at Hartung Title.

William Rofkar stated according to the Prosecuting Attorney it should show in the minutes that on October 5, 2005 Helmut Wuersig, a Township employee, was disciplined for working a side construction job while on medical leave and was served this day off without pay which was the result of the executive session held on September 29, 2005.  In regard to the noise at Mon Ami he talked to John Kronberg and as recently as October they were installing sound proof panels to reduce the noise in the new addition. Discussed the outside music and they are doing the same thing as CIC to reduce the sound.

A motion was made by Gary Mortus and seconded by Robert Schroeder to adjourn at 9:00 p.m..   All voted aye.
